I found a guy that is producing magazine extensions for the 709 slim that add 1 round capacity and enough room to help the average person get their pinky on the grip. I got a couple and it does make all the difference.This is great! The clip is very sturdy, the inside is smooth leather that lets the gun slide easily out of the holster while the outside is a softer suede finish that feels a bit better against your hip than a hard leather finish. 709 Slim Jamming. I took my 709 slim out to friends farm last week. The 3rd round of the first mag jammed with the slide partially forward. I had to drop the mag, and rack the slide to get the round out. Same thing happened with 4th round of next mag. See attached photo of the round.
