I have worked for multiple factories in the past so I know that the number they stamp on could have any meaning. I bought a tin of Frog Morton this morning and the code on the bottom reads: 452309. Yeah it would be nice to vendors would use it to return expired product. But I just wanted everyone to know how to read production date. Cans expire 6 months from date code. The vendors should check code pull expired lots and return (would be nice). Me being me I hate dry snuff and have screwed by local grocery store. Most kayaks have an expiration date stamped on them.
