Yesterday I was giving it some exercise when suddenly the slide locked up halfway open. Everywhere I look it's all the same screws and bushings that are on the kimber website, none of which are for a micro. I called kimber cs and they sent me full size 1911 grip ...From hanging out on the Kimber Talk forum, it has become standard to break-in the Micro 9 with 124gr ammo as has been mentioned. Also, shoot the thing 'wet' during break-in, firm wrist and tight grip. Another trick is to use a Dremel with felt tip and Flitz to polish the feed ramp and inside of the chamber.Beautiful smooth/checkered rosewood grips and checkered backstrap provide complete control.
