JRA was using some Criterion barrels at that time and there was a batch that had rough chambering. My rifle was unfortunately one of them.I just received my JRA this past Wednesday. The only magazine that locked into placed without forcing it was the one included with my M14. I bought a few other Check Mate magazines which was the brand included with the rifle and I had to press very hard to have them lock.

I was informed this stood for PEOPLES REPUBLIC OF MARYLAND. Not being stamped M14 made them legal in Maryland as well as New Jersey. The receivers were forged by BULA Forge.
