It looks like the motion sensor is very sensitive: all it takes for the red dot to turn on is slight tap on the table on which the gun lies. Under these conditions, it is no wonder the battery dies rather quickly.

I don’t own a Romeo Zero, but I’ve read a lot of posts about the battery that came with a new sight going dead in one day, so I’d replace the battery before I installed the sight, and keep the original battery as a spare.
